Research Fellow - Microbiomics

Support microbiomics research at 30M Genomics, focusing on gut microbiome studies, sample processing, and laboratory analysis.

Assist with DNA extraction, microbiome assays, sequencing preparation, data recording, and routine quality control while following established protocols.

Work closely with the Project Scientist and R&D team to support experiments, document results, and maintain accurate laboratory records.

Candidates must hold an MSc in a related field, with at least 1 year of relevant laboratory or research experience.

What you will do

• Process microbiome samples and keep chain-of-custody clear.

• Run assigned assays or library-prep steps and log every batch.

• Help with literature notes and simple figures for internal review.

• Work with the Project Scientist so methods stay consistent week to week.

MSc with a minimum of 1 year of experience in microbiology, microbial genomics, biotechnology, or a related laboratory field.

• Comfort in a molecular or microbiology lab.

• Willingness to follow SOPs and keep dated records.

• Proficient communicative English for methods, SOP, internal notes, research documentation and discussion.

• Expanding into deep research and an interdisciplinary ecosystem.
