Project Scientist - Pharmacogenomics

Lead pharmacogenomics (PGx) science at 30M Genomics. One opening, based at the Hyderabad operating office.

You will own the scientific work behind our pharmacogenomics tests: Indian-population markers, FDA-aligned genes, and CPIC-guided reports that clinicians can act on. This is a lab-and-science role, not a desk title.

What you will do

• Design, review, and improve pharmacogenomics assays, Panels and coordinate with the lab and clinical teams.

• Keep marker lists, literature, and CPIC/FDA context current for the comprehensive PGx offering.

• Troubleshoot sample, assay, and interpretation issues, and document methods so others can repeat them.

• Support clinician and partner questions on what the report can and cannot say.

PhD or MSc with a minimum of 5 years experience in the relevant domain (pharmacogenomics, molecular genetics, or a closely related laboratory science).

• Hands-on experience with genotyping, NGS, or equivalent molecular methods.

• Comfort reading primary literature and translating it into a lab protocol or report rule and designing protocols. .

• Proficient communicative English for methods, SOP, internal notes, research documentation and discussion.

• Expanding into deep research and an interdisciplinary ecosystem.

• Exposure to wider networking opportunities, being at the biotech hub.
